Science is the study of nature

  • most of high school honors-level chemistry
  • atomic theory, bonding, nomenclature
  • dimensional analysis, solutions, word problems

Language unlocks the science

  • morphemes + vocabulary

  • cell biology, biochemistry, genetics
  • species interactions, natural selection, evolution

  • timed, written responses to prompts

Science is the study of nature

  • most of high school honors-level physics
  • classical: mechanics, waves, electromagnetism
  • quantum: Standard Model of particle physics

LSL’s Structure 

  1. ~ 2 ½ hour weekly student commitment (75 min online class + ~75 min homework)
  2. 36 weeks, 4-page Classwork and 6-page Homework each week
  3. new ideas explored via Socratic method and integrated with old ideas
